Large and Impressive 16th Century Saint Figure

Large and impressive 16th Century Tyrolean carved wood and polychrome figure of a saint, probably St Francis of Assisi (Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone). Retains much original polychrome decoration. The back is carved out to fit in a niche.
Restoration: The hands and bible are later replacements, and the feet are restored. Circa 1550
